beyond.io is an experience design studio - we design, develop and produce interactive products and installations for brands and agencies. We are looking for an Electronic & Firmware engineer that . You’re a engineer that thinks practical and creative at heart but you get excited about applying your creative side to a wide range of projects in which hardware and software meet and design and technology are combined to a stunning brand experience. You will have the chance to work on unusual problems and challenges that require hands-on solutions, often using the cutting-edge of technology.

You will:

• provide expertise and creative technical starting points in new projects
• continuously research and acquire new knowledge in your field
• communicate your learnings and achievements back to the community ( OSS / online / conferences)

Requirements

• a degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience
• proven experience in delivering …
• solid knowledge and proficiency
• you feel at ease acquiring a new toolset that fits the challenge at hand
• testing and documenting
• can quickly hack together a working prototype to verify a proof of concept
• eager to tackle weird problems and knows exactly where or from whom to get the answers to your questions
• English proficiency is a must, Dutch is a good extra but not required, any other language gets even more points!
